Welcome to the Calne Alpha Four website. We are a small friendly club, re-started in 2008 after the re-opening of the Calne Leisure Centre, run and coached by volunteers. All volunteers, many of them parents and older swimmers, are ASA Members with appropriate CRB checks and coaching qualifications.
As well as lane swimming we have a highly successful synchronized swimming section.
Our main sessions are held at Calne Leisure Centre on Thursday evenings with additional sessions held at St Mary’s Sports Centre for our more advanced swimmers. Full details of our session times can be found here.

| Tony Sharp: Calne Alpha 4 ASC wishes to convey our sadness at the death of Tony Sharpe on 18th October 2011. Tony was an invaluable member of the Coaching Team for many years and played a key role in the re-opening of the Club in 2008. He gave many hours of his time teaching our young swimmers and was always ready to help. We are very grateful and he will be greatly missed. (Sat 12/11/11) |
